Attitude

I saw a poster on a wall somewhere. It stated the only string we have to play is our attitude. I believe that. Attitude is a key component to dealing with the situations that life puts you in. I can choose to have a good attitude or a bad one. I can choose to be happy or sad. To feel self-pity or fulfillment. I honestly believe it’s a choice. So, I choose to have a good attitude and to be happy. Sure, I fall short. But, I have learned to recognize those situations and to make adjustments.

Perserverence

It's not about never letting go. Sometimes letting go is the hardest thing we will ever have to do. But, having perserverence means that you are willing to do what it takes to complete a task, goal, or project. Never quitting. Never giving up. This can be made easier by breaking goals up into smaller parts.

Perseverance

Hard work pays off! I know that from experience. If you want something you have to work for it. You have to sacrifice. You have to be persistent. Nothing comes from nothing. Effort, visualization, and desire go together to propel yourself to your set goals.

The Big Three

For me to be happy I have to do three things. Get enough sleep, exercise, and eat right. It is the formula that works for me. I am not perfect at any one of those things. But, I know that I am better off attempting to do them right than not at all. Life is a constant struggle for balance. You have to take the time to do the things for yourself that will enable you to help others.
